Oil, Gas, and Chemical Division

Clean Agent Systems

• Sapphire/Novec 1230 — An Environmentally friendly Clean Agent that was voted "Product of the Year."
  
  
• Inergen — Three naturally occurring gases make up Inergen and make it a no toxicity Clean Agent Suppressant.
  
  
• FM-200 — Effective for Class A, B, and C fires, FM-200 is a common replacement for older Halon 1301 Systems.
  
  
• Carbon Dioxide — The original Clean Agent Suppresant, Carbon Dioxide is very effective on Class A fires.
  
  
• Firetrace — A flexi-tube delivery system allows a Firetrace Clean Agent design to work in small cabinets and equipment locations that cannot be protected using other Clean Agent systems.
  
  
• Room Integrity Testing — Testing air flow within a space with a Clean Agent system is vital to ensuring the system will function effectively when activated.

• Restaurant Systems — Two specialized suppression systems for restaurants and kitchen operations use the latest technology to provide superior protection.
  
  
• Gas Station Systems — Canopy fire suppression solutions provide protection to gas station operations, even in windy conditions.
  
  
• Off-Road Vehicle Systems — Vanguard has suppression solutions to meet the needs of off-road excavators, dozers, waste haulers, and more.
  
  
• Paint Booth Systems — Pre-Engineered solutions for Class A, B, and C fires in Paint booths and other industrial processing areas.
  
  
• Exhaust Hood Cleaning — Vanguard technicians provide required exhaust hood cleaning that is of the highest quality and can be tied into required fire testing of the system at the same time.

Electronic Systems

• Security/Intrusion Systems — Vanguard designs systems to protect facilities from both internal and external risks involving theft, vandalism, burglary, access, and robbery.
  
  
• CCTV Systems — From fixed cameras to those that pan, tilt, and zoom, Vanguard has a solution for your CCTV needs.  IP solutions, DVR's day/night cameras, viewing software and internet capabilities are all available options.
  
  
• Card Access Systems — Systems to control staff access to areas with simple scheduling and integration options are the hallmarks of a Vanguard Card Access system.
  
  
• Fire Alarm Systems — Vanguard offers Fire Alarm systems from a variety of manufacturers and has skilled engineers to design a code compliant system for your facility.
  
  
• Air Sampling Systems — Air sampling smoke detection systems are among the most sensitive warning systems for fire.  Vanguard knows the special applications for these systems and how to design them to meet your needs.

Sprinkler Systems

• Wet Sprinkler Systems — The most common type of sprinkler system where water is constantly maintained within the system piping.
  
  
• Dry Sprinkler Systems — A sprinkler system for use where freezing temperatures may exist.
  
  
• Pre-Action Systems — A closed head sprinkler system where water does not enter the system until a detection event triggers the pre-action valve, at which point the head still needs to trip in order to activate the entire system.
  
  
• Deluge Systems — Similar to a Pre-Action system with open heads, to deliver a large volume of water  immediately upon activation.
  
  
• Foam Systems — A sprinkler system that uses special components and foam agents to suppress fires.
  
  
• Fire Pumps —Fire pumps boost the pressure to a facility when the sprinkler system is activated–and are often required in tall structures.
